Cheryl Ann Foulke

Foulke, Cheryl Ann. On May 17, 2018, Cheryl- age 63, of Pennsauken- lost her fierce fight with cancer surrounded by her loving family. As a child, she spent summers with her sisters in Money Island on her parent's boat, fishing and hanging out at Gandy's Beach. She spent her early years as an aspiring singer and actress with hopes of stardom in NYC. Later on, she settled down as a devoted mom, raising her two sons in Bellmawr and Pennsauken, NJ. Her home was always open and was known by all of her son's friends as "mom." Cheryl was a force of nature. Once you met her, you never forgot her. She had an irrepressible wit and her infectious smile lit up the room. She could disarm you with her honesty and had a legendary sense of humor that she kept until the very end. Cheryl retired from the Camden County Board of Social Services after 35 years in a job few could handle. But above all, Cheryl loved her family, especially her two boys. She was an avid reader, cat and dog lover, and sports fan. Those who knew her well understood the importance of her traditional Black Friday feast in bed! She loved the beach and tried to spend as much time there as possible. Cheryl was also a rabid Eagles fan and could be found on any given Sunday wearing her Eagles jersey cheering louder than anyone else and was so thrilled to have seen the Eagles win the Superbowl. She will be greatly missed. Predeceased by the late Harry and Rita (nee Magee) Foulke, brother Thomas, sister Joyce (Robert) Burke. Survived by sons Patrick (Leanne) Foulke and Thomas Foulke, sisters Rita (Richard) Franck, Linda (Ivo) Santarelli, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on May 23, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, located at 2426 Cove Rd., Pennsauken, NJ 08109. A funeral ceremony will begin at 8pm at the funeral home. Cheryl will be laid to rest on May 26, 2018 at 10:45am at Calvary Cemetery - family and friends are invited to gather at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home on May 26, 2018 at 10am and process over to the cemetery. The procession will be leaving promptly at 10:30am. A nice luncheon close by will follow after the burial. Feel free to post photos, share a memory, or send an online condolence to the family.
