Margaret Brown

on June 2, 2011, nee Callum, age 85, of Clayton for the past 8 years, formerly of Pennsauken for 40 years. Beloved daughter of the late William and Margaret Gunn Callum, devoted mother of Margaret Brown and her late fiance' Adam Mayerand Keith Dillard of Clayton and Harry Jane Brown of Marlton, loving grandmother of Laura and Brian Brown. Dear sister of the late William and the late Richard Callum. Also survived by sisters in law Erica Callum and Dolores Callum and good friend Betty Savage. Mrs. Brown loved Wildwood Beach, especially the boardwalk, fun shop, haunted house, Moore's Inlet, Max's Pizza, Tony's, Red Garter, Cozy Morley's and Dot Spot. She truly missed her dear husband Harry, who she wrote to for two years prior to meeting him when he was in the military. After the war she dated him for two more years and were married in 1947. She was an active member of St. Cecilia's Church, enjoyed the Pennsauken VFW with her husband, enjoyed camping at Big Timber Lake in Cape May Court House and Arrowhead Lakes in the Poconos. She loved spending time with the following people: brother and sister in law, William and Dolores and their children; Janet, Billy, Joanne and Meagie. Also her brother and sister in law, Richard and Erica and their children; Debbie, Diane, Ricky, Tommy, Anthony and Donna. As well as, close friends she grew up with, Minnie and Maude, high school friends Rose and Lorraine and the Ford family. She loved singing and dancing. She loved all kinds of music, from Big Band, World War II music, to Doo Wop music to Folk music, Peter, Paul & Mary to Bob Dylan up to current music and country. As long as she could sing and dance she was happy. She took in any stray that walked by her path, it ended up in her house or her daughter's house. Relatives and friends of the family are kindly invited to attend her Visitation on Wednesday 9:30 -11:00 AM at the FUNERAL HOME OF INGLESBY & SONS, 2426 Cove Road. Pennsauken NJ 08109.
