Patricia Lynn Watts

Patricia Lynn Watts, 56, of Pennsauken, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, with the sound of the ocean playing and family at her bedside. Pat was born on November 1, 1966 to Michael and Sharon Goodwin (Johnson) in Abington, Pennsylvania. Pat attended William Tenet High School in her hometown of Warminster and graduated in 1984. She went on to work in various fields, including the mortgage industry, property management, and most recently, security – meeting some of her dearest friends along the way. "Mom" would come to be her most important job title and remain so until her passing. In 1986, Pat met William Watts and fell head over heels in love. She often remarked from the first moment she saw her dear Bill or as she would playfully call him: Will-um, she knew there would never be anyone else for her. They married in 1989. Pat and Bill went on to have four children, Eric, Megan, Katelyn, and Rachel. Patricia, Patty, Pat, Mom, or Nana, as she was called by the people who loved her, was a fiercely loyal and caring person. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, loved being at the beach, going to the Temple, Tinkerbell, long drives to see her best friend, dancing to her favorite music, visiting local farms, and cooking the best chicken soup around. Patricia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various callings including that of Relief Society President. She devoted much of her time in the service of others. She lived the admonition of President Monson, "Never let a problem to be solved, become more important than a person to be loved." Pat was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Wayne and Dorothy Johnson, her paternal grandparents Augustus and Margaret Goodwin, her Aunt Beverly Pederson and the beloved family dog Matrix. She is survived by her parents Michael and Sharon Goodwin; her siblings Dawn DiMaio (Lou) and Michael Goodwin. She is also survived by her spouse William, her children Eric (Kelly), Megan (Jimmy), Katelyn, and Rachel, her beloved grandchildren Jackson, Autumn, and Korra as well as several extended family members and her pup Phoebe. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cherry Hill, NJ, on March 24, with the viewing starting promptly at 9 am. The memorial service will begin at 10am with the internment at Locustwood Memorial Park and luncheon at the church to follow.
