Audrey Samalonis

Audrey Ann Samalonis, age 83, of Marlton, NJ, passed away on March 29, 2022. She was born to the late Stanley R. Samalonis, Sr. and Nellie M. Samalonis (Chapus). Audrey started her career at RCA, which General Electric (GE) purchased in 1986. GE eventually spun-off its aerospace division to Martin Marietta. In 1995, Lockheed Martin and Martin Marietta merged, becoming Lockheed Martin. Audrey retired from Lockheed Martin as a manager for sourcing compliance aerospace, where she was involved in with procurement for the AEGIS combat system. Audrey was avid "Foodie" and an amazing cook and baker (her annual July 4th pork shoulder was out of this world crazy delicious). Audrey loved watching her favorite cooking shows on "Food Network" and "Cooking Channel" and her favorite chefs included Paula Dean, Ina Garten, Michael Symon, Cat Cora, Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, Gordon Ramsey, and Jose Garces. One of Audrey's favorite things to do was watch "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" and Guy Fieri's "Dinners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and then visit the local restaurants featured on those shows. Audrey enjoyed tending to her flower and herb gardens (she especially loved her various tomato plants). Audrey loved going to her shore home in Ocean City, NJ, and spending time with her dogs, Pepsi and the late Sammy. We wish we had more time and were blessed to have Audrey in our lives and she be deeply missed. Audrey is predeceased by parents, Stanley R. Samalonis, Sr. and Nellie M. Samalonis and brother, Stanley R. Samalonis, Jr. She is survived by her nephews, Michael Samalonis (Judy) and Jeffrey Samalonis (Kathy-Jo) and great nephews, Zachary Samalonis, William Samalonis, Evan Samalonis, and great niece Kyra Samalonis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 10am-11:30am at Inglesby & Sons Funeral Home, located at 2426 Cove Rd., Pennsauken, NJ 08109. A funeral service will begin at 11:30am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken, NJ.
